Totally correct meerkat. We always always let the manager issue drag on and on although its so obvious to everyone that a change is needed. Remember Gold supporting Grant right until the end? Then it was panic panic to get a replacement.

Reading some of the responses yesterday when a few of us dared suggest not playing Coufal, Cresswell, Soucek & Fornals.
"At least the manager is not stupid enough to do something like that"
I mean, YOU HAVE TO LAUGH.

Moyes won’t be sacked after just 3 games, but the next against Villa is huge as it’s Spurs after and they’ll hammer us. We could seriously be on 0 points after 5 matches, we could even quite easily have scored 0 goals after those 5 matches too, and then his position will be in doubt

A team with Coufal and Soucek simply isn't a top half team. How we finished back to back top7 i will never know

You have to ask yourself about Moyes judgement and tactics. He sign two Czech players who are brilliant for the first season then look lost in the mire of the coaching. We seem to buy players who never fulfil their initial promise. He has a left back position that has been screaming to be filled by a better player for at least three years but he persists with what has become route one for the opposition. Even that twat March was made to look good today. They have bought Downes and are not using him despite the lack of tackling ability in midfield. He has bought expensively on the forward line but persists with one up front. The ball goes up to him and comes straight back. They were given a lesson today on passing and pressing.

People saying we should give Moyes 8 to 10 games is a reflection of our history. We win nothing and are conditioned to win nothing . He needs to be sacked now - he has had a lot more than 10 games and I didn’t think it was possible, but we are getting worse . And it’s not knicker wetting - why sacrifice a quarter of the season for a manager who has contiously shown that he learns nothing.

That’s exactly what we’ve done for 2 years, punched above our weight, we had luck the first year with Arsenal & Spurs having massive off years. Now what’s happening is the players are reverting back to their bang average standard, Antonio, Fornals, Cresswell to name a few.

Agreed Boycie. Watching the intelligence of Wellbeck (who’s legs are gone) on the same pitch as Antonio was utterly depressing. The way their midfield dominated and Moyes failed to respond was very telling

We spent £40m plus on a centre forward who is not first choice. Antonio is the oppos best defender. We have no outlet when we need it . Having said that Potter has that average team ticking over very nicely. He’s a real manager. Ours is stuck in a time warp

We’ve played the same way for 18 months. Other teams have evolved, we haven’t and we’re easy to play against. Even when the subs came on we didn’t change the tactics or shape. Brighton completely dominated the ball and completely bipassed the statue Soucek and Rice ( who looks completely fucked off). Utter mismanagement since the jan transfer window, Moyes included in that

"How bad was it?"
much like thursday night, we gave brighton far too much time on the ball. there was very little closing down. zouma continues to look like someone's who's playing with one leg. rice may as well have been playing CB, he was that deep for the majority of the match. the wire attackers did very little, so whoever was no9 had no service or chances. the only time the brighton keeper was troubled was two soucek headers that he tipped over

We have seen a fundamental problem for a long time. With the success of achieving well in Europe has come a dark side. We have not had a big enough squad - and there are just too many games for the players. Many of our games have been played with very tired players. Success in Europe often comes with the curse of too many games. + We do not understand not starting Cornet and Scamacca..in our game against Brighton. We must NOT have Scammaca become a new Haller. We are going to have to change our tactics in terms of our attack.
This is a problem for our management to solve.

The last 8 months has been a train wreck in slow motion. We could see it coming, the lack of any investment, the drop in form and missing out on 6th, the tiredness of the players, the Euro exit at the last gasp, and the carrying over into this season. We have seen this coming clear as day, why havent the people who can do something about it.

But 3 points (or lack of them) are 3 points (or lack of them), at what ever point in the season we get (or don't get) them.
These missing 9 points could be the difference between us getting CL football next season or not.
The only difference being that we have 35 more games - like everybody else - to make the ground up.
Losing 3 on the bounce at the end of the season to miss out on Europe would be less than pleasant.

We've been utter gash for months . When you look around the premier League even the so called smaller club's have way more innovative manager's than us . And I strongly suspect the players know it as well .
